"What Are You Doing New Years Eve?" (Video)

So, what are your plans?

Staying home?  Going out?  Have a sitter this year?  Leave a comment and let me know.

As for the Twitch family, we're going to enjoy our new place.  We're inviting over a few friends (which is something we weren't able to do with our old one bedroom apartment).  Keeping it small, quiet and simple.

Happy New Year, everyone.

Video: 'Goodnight Irene'

To close out the weekend, I thought it would be nice to play one of my all time favorite tunes.

This was recorded Saturday night at O'Flaherty's, in NYC's Restaurant Row.  As Hurricane Irene was approaching, a group of Broadway performers had gathered to sing...and drink the night away.

The video's performers are Alex Harvey on guitar, and Chris "Mr. Sullyphane" Sullivan on ukulele and vocals.  Sullivan is currently on featured in 'Chicago' as Amos Hart.

Pay close attention to the improvised lyrics in verses three and four.  Very nice.  Enjoy.

This Is Just Adorable

I'm not sure if this little boy doesn't speak English, or if he doesn't know the words to the song. He's a little guy, and the song moves pretty fast....but this kid is still impressive on the ukulele:
