The Women Of Egypt

Since protests started January 25th, women have played an important role in Egyptian demonstrations.  Many have played the role of spokesperson.  Some have become protest organizers.  Some have even emerged as leaders.  There have been a couple of days since the start of the protests where demonstrations have relied solely in the hands of the women of Cairo, as the men of the city had spent the previous night in the streets protecting the city.  This post is dedicated to them.
