MN Sen. Franken ripped a whole in the testimony of 'Focus On The Family' Senior VP Thomas Minnery, at today's DOMA hearings. Minnery, Senior Vice President for Public Policy for the fringe conservative group, attested as a witness in the hearing that a 2010 study from the Department of Health and Human Services ruled that children were in a better overall position with married, opposite-sexed parents.
Fortunately in the interest of the truth, Senator Franken also read that study, and it said nothing of the sort:

I love him too. Love Love Love. So glad he finally was seated after his long election and recount. Love him. Even more than Barney Frank, whom I also love.
This is fabulous! He is my hero! Maybe I'll start writing him in as president instead of Ralph Nader. Ha!
