Is Angry Birds Bigger Than Mario?

Some interesting statistics coming from Rovio, the makers of Angry Birds.  Everyone knows that the cross platform game, which requires you to fling birds across the screen and crush smirking green piggies, is immensely popular.  How popular?  Try 350 million copies.

To put that in perspective, if you take every Mario titled game ever sold by Nintendo, you would have 262 million games.  Granted, Mario titles generally retail between $29.99 and $59.99 each, while Angry Birds can be downloaded for anywhere from $.99 to $4.99, depending on what device you have.  So, while Mario has been a more profitable enterprise, you still have to ask...
